Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.62 points to 1,603.74.

Volume was 1.8 billion lots worth RM1.5 billion.

Losers beat gainers 603 to 216.
