Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.01 points to 1,461.45.

Volume was 6.448 billion lots worth RM3.305 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 669 to 384.
