Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 19.09 points to 1,578.39.

Volume was 8.361 billion lots worth RM4.284 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 1,093 to 250.
