Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.64 points to 1,601.88.

Volume was 6.806 billion lots worth RM4.829 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 625 to 496.
