MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 9.30 points to 1,496.48.
Volume was 8.453 billion lots worth RM4.325 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 896 to 246.
