Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 18.57 points to 1,492.40.

Volume was 8.476 billion lots worth RM5.945 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 758 to 375.
