Malaysia: Shares end higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 13.49 points to 1,677.56.
Some 2.8 billion lots, valued at RM2.3 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 521 to 357.
