Malaysia: Shares end higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 25.82 points to 1,691.50.
Volume was 2.2 billion lots worth RM3.0 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 474 to 345.
