Malaysia: Shares end higher on Thursday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 20.19 points to 1,836.13. Volume was 2.22 billion shares worth RM2.02 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers by 660 to 344.
