Malaysia: Shares end higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.50 points to 1,687.13. Volume was 1.99 billion lots worth RM2.24 billion. Gainers outnumbered losers by 455 to 341.
