Malaysia: Shares end lower

Malaysian shares closed lower on Friday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index losing 12.62 points to 1,643.90.
Some 1.74 billion lots, valued at RM2.16 billion, were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 498 to 335.
