Malaysia: Shares end sharply lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed sharply lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 20.55 points to 1,663.66.
Volume was 3 billion lots worth RM2.1 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 547 to 302.
