Malaysia: Shares fall at Friday's open

MALAYSIA share prices started trading on lower ground on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.4 points or 0.8 per cent to 1,549.4 as at 9.02am.
Volume traded was 392.7 million lots worth RM225.4 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 249 to 117.
