Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.24 points, or 0.40 per cent, to 1,585.01 as at 9.05am.

    Volume was 340.08 million lots worth about RM256.88 million. Losers beat gainers 215 to 130.
