Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.36 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 1,584.04 as at 9.10am.

    Volume was 700.21 million lots worth about RM252.98 million. Gainers beat losers 304 to 170.
