Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.12 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 1,618.23 as at 9.05am.

    Volume was 399.23 million lots worth about RM148.55 million. Gainers beat losers 269 to 85.
