Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.88 points to 1716.98.
Volume was 54.9 million lots worth RM17.4 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 175 to 46.
