Malaysia share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.80 points to 1,613.72.
Volume was 83.87 million lots worth RM 33.74 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 271 to 52.
