Malaysia shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.70 points to 1,696.32 at 9.01am.

Volume was 32.6 million lots worth RM14.36 million.

Losers beat gainers 70 to 67.
