Malaysia shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.11 points to 1,684.99 at 9am.

Volume was 119.67 million lots worth RM7.99 million.

Gainers beat losers 56 to 14.
