MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6 points to 1,699.59 at 9am.
Volume was 58.8 million lots worth RM15.8 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 116 to 45.
