MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.83 points to 1,649.57 at 9am.
Volume was 35.6 million lots worth RM16.36 million.
Gainers beat losers 114 to 39.
