Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.17 points or 0.3 per cent to 1,597.92 as at 9.15am.
Volume was 848.2 million lots worth about RM276.8 million. Gainers beat losers 380 to 190.
