Malaysia shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.16 points, or 0.07 per cent to 1693.76 as at 9.01am.
Volume was about 36 million lots worth RM9.51 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 96 to 29.
