Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.49 points, or 0.41 per cent, to 1,598.33 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 438.35 million lots worth about RM157.51 million. Gainers beat losers 330 to 91.
