Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.22 points to 1,601.36 at 9am.

Volume was 54.24 million lots worth RM20.95 million.

Gainers beat losers 99 to 71.
