Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.76 points, or 0.18 per cent, to 1,578.03 as at 9.03am.
Volume was 246.17 million lots worth about RM67.86 million. Gainers beat losers 280 to 73.
