Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.49 points to 1,744.42.
Volume was 96.04 million lots worth RM33.78 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 125 to 73.
