Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.33 points to 1,653.74 at 9am.
Volume was 43.15 million lots worth RM16.76 million.
Gainers beat losers 87 to 54.
