Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.30 points, or 1.16 per cent, to 1,594.92 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 888.04 million lots worth about RM557.59 million. Gainers beat losers 495 to 173.
