Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.33 points, or 1.17 per cent, to 1,584.73 as at 9.15am.
Volume was 1.23 billion lots worth about RM764.46 million. Gainers beat losers 368 to 337.
