Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.80 points to 1,857.22 at 9am.

Volume was 56.82 million lots worth RM37.81 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 166 to 62.
