Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.16 points to 1,598.61 at 9am.

Volume was 32.69 million lots worth RM12.23 million.

Gainers beat losers 106 to 42.
