Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.34 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 1,462.79 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 269.48 million lots worth about RM89.73 million. Gainers beat losers 286 to 83.
