Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.81 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,607.69 as at 9.07am.

    Volume was 735.84 million lots worth about RM457.82 million. Gainers beat losers 315 to 253.
