Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.72 points to 1823.97.
Volume was 153.67 million lots worth RM224.54 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 119 to 97.
