Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.6 points or 0.11 per cent to 1,480.24 at 9.02am.
Volume was 40.25 million lots worth RM16.93 million. Losers beat gainers 159 to 52.
