Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.79 points, or 0.65 per cent, to 1,517.48 as at 9.03am.

    Volume was 406.23 million lots worth about RM160.61 million. Gainers beat losers 327 to 84.
