MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.67 points to 1822.91.
Volume was 143.1 million lots worth RM71.1 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 460 to 37.
