Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.51 points to 1,572.99 at 9am.
Volume was 52.66 million lots worth RM20.09 million.
Gainers beat losers 90 to 44.
