Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.69 points or 0.58 per cent to 1,482.34 at 9.05am.

    Volume was 120.97 million lots worth RM41.67 million. Losers beat gainers 184 to 60.
