Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.04 points, or 0.47 per cent, to 1,497.87 as at 9.05am.

    Volume was 140.96 million lots worth about RM46.00 million. Gainers beat losers 163 to 113.
