Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.17 points to 1,718.88 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 47.26 million lots worth RM26.15 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 78 to 66.
