MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.96 points to 1,733.05.
Volume was 45.85 million lots worth RM18.03 million.
Losers beat gainers 158 to 40.
