Malaysia shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.08 points to 1,681.89 at 9.01am.

Volume was 43.25 million lots worth RM17.52 million.

Gainers beat losers 101 to 57.
