Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 36.75 points or 2.73 per cent to 1,309.00 at 9.05am.

    Volume was 145.11 million lots worth RM69.59 million. Losers beat gainers 357 to 58.
