Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.73 points, or 0.53 per cent, to 1,624.46 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 251.44 million lots worth about RM145.72 million. Losers beat gainers 294 to 160.
