Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.55 points to 1709.
Volume was 33.7 million lots worth RM11.7 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 83 to 42.
