Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.99 points to 1,783.34.
Volume was 71.38 million lots worth RM16.14 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 120 to 55.
