Malaysia shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.81 points to 1,704.28 at 9am.

Volume was 15.43 million lots worth RM39.83 million.

Losers beat gainers 60 to 56.
